Erica Tunisian Tank Top
Just like Erica Kane, this tank top is full of spunk. Using the Tunisian crochet technique, you can stitch this in just a couple of days. I have chosen Elann Sonata for its 100% cotton fiber content, luster, wonderful selection of colors and reasonable price. This is a form-fitting top, hugging those curves wonderfully. The pattern is written to fit chest sizes of 30” to 44” in 8 different increments to ensure a perfect fit.
Variations Yes, you can absolutely make some variations to this garment! If you’re just learning Tunisian crochet and don’t feel comfortable with the bobbles or eyelets, simply make the entire front and back in Tunisian Knit Stitch. This will give you a plain knit-looking tank top, suitable for any occasion. If you’d rather not have any texture in the front, but love the eyelets, simply omit the bobbles when doing the chart. If you’d like a little more coverage in the scoop neck, simply crochet a few extra rows around the neck. There are several possibilities. The pattern includes suggestions on how to make this top if you prefer a less form-fitting style such as adding side vents to the bottom seams for more comfort.
