My warmth depends solely on how warm my neck is, so when cool weather strikes the first thing I go for is a scarf, cowl, snood, or shawl. I’ve got tons of them and I’m always looking for more. My one requirement is the ability to actually keep your neck warm. So if I was going to rate this Entrelac Snood on a scale of 1-10, 1 being silly lace weight scarf, and 10 being huge blanket wrapped around your neck, it would be a 10. Entrelac Snood is as close to wrapping a huge blanket around your neck as you can get while still being able to walk.

A snood is an oversized cowl, so with that comes a TON if different ways to wear it: doubled as a cowl, looped as a scarf, as a hood, as a wrap. Three buttons added as a final touch make it even more versatile. Button it in the back and make it a vest or a jacket. Button one button to make it a cape.

A fat rib and chunky entrelac make this project deceivingly quick. Make it colorful by using up your scraps or pick a couple colors. This snood is sure to be your winter neck-warming staple.
