Entrelac Mitts
This pattern is
available for free.
Finished mitts are almost 7.5 inches around and 8.5 inches long.
Practice entrelac by working these mitts flat, then seaming up the side, leaving a hole for the thumb.
This pattern was on About.com (which no longer exists) and has been deleted from their site, but for now it can still be found on the Internet Archive. They redirect and delete pages a lot so you may want to download/print to save.
