Encompass
This circle scarf was the result of a personal search for a perfect winter accessory. It’s pretty, fast, easy, versatile, worked in the round, and - most importantly to me, completely reversible. The pattern is based on four reversible stitch patterns, repeated in blocks of ten stitches, tiled over the whole project.
Note: If you’re not using the suggested yarn, you might find your cowl comes out shorter than mine did. Alpaca really “grows” which is why the scarf comes out longer than the gauge would suggest. If you’re using a wool rather than alpaca yarn, and you’d really like it to be 60” long, you might want to add a repeat- or nudge your gauge to 2.5 stitches to the inch, then block.
