Emma Woodhouse
The ubiquitous lace trim of Victorian-era dresses inspired the details of this fitted feminine pullover. The airy laciness of the collar and cuffs provides an interesting contrast to the slim silhouette of the body. This sweater has turned hems to keep it laying smooth on the hip and wrist and is worked entirely in the round, achieving its’ curves through the use of short rows and waist decreases. The lace is knit directly onto the body of the sweater, keeping finishing to a minimum.
