Emma Stole
This elann pattern will be retired at the end of February 2021 - No pattern support will be available going forward.
Emma Stole, designed by Shui Kuen Kozinski, using elann.com Peruvian Baby Lace Merino
The stole design takes inspiration from the scene in which Jane Austen’s Emma, playing the age old game of wistful lovers, says “He loves me,” and “He loves me not,” while picking one petal off a flower for each phrase. The stole is rectangular shaped, using a scalloped motif for edging and a flower (ox-eye daisy) motif for the body. It is knit in two pieces and grafted together at the center using Kitchener stitch. With finished measurements of 16” by 74”, relaxed after blocking, it uses just 2 balls of elann.com Peruvian Baby Lace Merino!
