There’s really nothing like a simple but effective knit: you start with good old fashioned stockinette stitch, and, row by row, you watch this wee cast on grow and grow. Just when you’re getting a bit bored and are ready for a change, you start working a simple meditative repeat. Switch that repeat to garter for a bit, back to stockinette, end with an I-cord bind-off, and voila! You’ve got the perfect little shawlette.
