This shawl is knit from tip to tip. You knit the leaf border, then slip one stitch and make an increase (on each row).
The body of the shawl has a textured stitch section, a lace section, a textured stitch section and ends with a large lace (adjustable).

● Size
Approx. 69 inches; 175 cm in wingspan and 37½ inches; 95 cm in depth, after block.

● Materials

Wool: Approx. 875 yards; 800 meters of fingering wool or other to obtain gauge.
The sample was knitted with Dr Wool by Arco iris yarn - 100% merino – 438 yards; 400 meters per 100 gr, colorway forêt d’émeraude.

Needles: US4; 3.50 mm circular needles, 47 inches; 120 cm long or other size to obtain gauge. US6; 4.00 mm circular needles (bind off only).

Other: tapestry needle for weaving end.

● Gauge
23 stitches and 30 rows for 4 inches; 10 cm in textured stitch after a light block.
The gauge isn’t crucial to this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.

Ce châle est construit de la pointe à la pointe. Vous tricotez la bordure feuille, puis glissez une maille et faites une augmentation (sur chaque rang endroit).
Le corps du châle a une section de point texturé, une section de dentelle, une section de point texturé et se termine par une grande section de dentelle (ajustable).

Le châle en photo a été tricoté avec Dr Wool par Arco iris yarn, 100% mérinos superwash 400 mètres pour 100 gr, coloris forêt d’émeraude.

Aiguilles: aiguilles circulaires 3.5 mm (120 cm de long) ou autre taille pour obtenir l’échantillon, et 4.00 mm pour rabattre.

Autre: aiguille à tapisserie pour rentrer les fils.

● Echantillon
23 mailles et 30 rangs pour 10 cm x 10 cm au point texturé après un léger blocage.
L’échantillon n’est pas crucial pour ce projet, mais il peut affecter la taille finale ainsi que le metrage
