Needle: US Size 8 (5 mm) straight and set of DPNs (or your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, three 1 to 1¼” buttons, sewing needle and thread (Note: Buttons shown are Katrinkles Feather Toggle Buttons.)

PATTERN NOTES
The cowl is worked flat in one piece from the bottom up. The hat is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. During finishing, the front of the hat is smocked.
