This quick-knit set is named after a bog person find, specifically Elling Woman. Recently I took a metalsmithing class and my artist aunt kept telling me everything I made looked as if it had been found in a bog. This is high praise with the two of us, let me tell you. And since the yarn color IS “Bog of Eternal Stench,” well…

You’ll need one skein for the hat and one for the mitts, so if you’re only knitting one or the other, halve the yarn requirement.
