Gauge
23 sts and 21 garter stitch ridges (42 rows) on needle size 4 mm / US 6 = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches.

How to
The scarf is worked back and forth on a circular needle, from the center back and outwards. It begins with a short length of I-cord at the back of the neck, which continues in small, fine cables along the edges and down through the center of the scarf, and ends with a cable-patterned edge. Increases are worked along the sides and the center cable on every second row. The cables are worked without the use of a cable needle.
