Elizabeth’s Heirloom
This pattern was written for Elizabeth, who wanted to recreate a much loved heirloom blanket passed down from her grandparents. All she had was pictures of the heirloom, and she knew it was made using alpaca.
I’m so happy and honored to have helped her bring this blanket back to life! And she has graciously allowed me to share it with other crocheters.
The photo shows the beautiful stitches that Elizabeth lovingly made to carry on the memories of her grandmother.
Thank you, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth used Berroco Ultra Alpaca for the main body of the blanket and she trimmed it with a 100% alpaca she found at Holdfast Hilty Family Farm in Ohio.
