Elin Bandana Scarf
An ultrasoft scarf knitted in 100% Merino wool; Önling’s No 2 or No 15, with a gorgeous stripe sequence and fine I-cord edges. This is a pretty, small scarf that you will just love for its incredible softness and simplicity. It is easy to knit and nice to wear as a bandana or scarf around your neck.
Materials
Önling No 15, 100% Merino wool, 180 m per 50 g.
Color A: Medium Gray: 100 g Color B: Raspberry: 100 g
Recommended circular needle size 4 mm / US 6.
Or
Önling No 2, 100% Merino wool, 120 m per 25 g.
Color A: Mustard: 50 g
Color B: Volga: 50 g
Gauge
23 sts and 21 garter stitch ridges (= 42 rows) on circular needle size 4 mm / US = 10 x 10 cm / 2.5x2.5 inches.
Procedure
The scarf is worked back and forth from point to point, with I-cord edges in both sides. Increases are worked on one side of the scarf until it is half finished. Then de- creases are worked on one side until the scarf is finished.
