A similar pattern was once published in Let’s Knit Together in 2020 without Teddy.

All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No circular knitting is required.
The sample is worked with 4-ply (fingering) weight yarn; however, you can knit with DK (8-ply) with slightly larger needles.
The project calls for small amounts of yarn. Feel free to use your stash.
Green needs the most quantity. If you are using 4-ply, 15g of it at the most. If you are using DK, I assume you will need somewhere between 20-25g.
Finished size: elf, 13cm when it is sitting, teddy, 6cm

Sirdar Snuggly 4-ply, 50g per 226m, 55% Nylon, 45% Acrylic

28 sts, 36 rows = 10cm (not essential)
