Eleven Stitch Lace
Despite the name, this blanket really belongs to my family of Ten Stitch patterns. That extra stitch is added just to balance the lace pattern.
Like the original Ten Stitch Blanket, this is worked as a narrow strip, joined to the blanket as you go. The corners are shaped with short rows.
I knitted my blanket with DK weight yarn but you could use any yarn and needles for this pattern. Again, I changed colour every ‘round’ but the pattern could be knitted with one yarn or lots of different ones. The choice is up to you.
There is only one lace pattern row to learn and that is a simple faggot stitch which is easy to memorise.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the British Liver Trust where the money will go to fund research and support the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page
