Elevated Wall Hanging
Made from two separate panels separated by long chain loops, this macrame-inspired wall hanging features openwork sections reminiscent of pine trees. The addition of twisted fringe gives the piece extra weight and style.
Difficulty Easy
Yarn Weight 5
Finished Size 13” wide and 26” tall, excluding hanger and fringe.
Yarn Malabrigo Yarn Mecha (100% superwash Merino wool; 130 yd 119 m/ 3 ½ oz 100 g): #MC051 VAA, 3 hanks.
Hook Size J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions ½“ diameter dowel, 18” length; yarn needle.
Gauge 14 sts and 16 rows = 4” in sc; 14 sts and 7 rows = 4” in patt.
