The Cuddle Elephant is a ragdoll lovey that has a flat body, mimicking a security blanket for babies, toddlers, and young children. This almost no-sew project only requires sewing for the ears. It features a head, body, arms, and legs crocheted in one piece. Even the edging around the neck, sleeves, and pants are crocheted directly onto the doll. This clever safari animal design also features double-layered two-toned ears.
This design is easy and works up quickly with super bulky yarn and a large, 5mm hook. It looks great with blanket yarn, polyester, chenille, or velvet yarn, though you can use other types of fibers too! The sample was created with Hobbii Baby Snuggle, perfect for a soft and cuddly toy.
Customize this elephant blankie with different yarn colors. The design is unisex and gender neutral, and can be for both boys and girls. Kids will adore snuggling up to this sweet doll!
