2021 Slow Yarn Crawl pattern from Sheep’s Clothing!
How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 28th, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!

A simple but elegant wrap knit on the bias in garter stitch with an I-cord finished edge all the way around. Worked in stripes of shiny silky milk or bamboo alternating with an Egyptian cotton that has a sparkle strand. If sparkle isn’t your thing, you can get the cotton without it too.

Note: Pattern is easily adaptable to your taste. However, you may need more yarn. If you are wanting to use up as much yarn as you have available, weigh yarn A or the yarn you have the least yardage of at the end of section 1 and write down that number in grams. A kitchen or mail scale is good for this. Then work section 2 until you have slightly more than that amount remaining to start section 3. I like to use this method when I am trying not to have leftovers and not risk purchasing more yarn. Its also a good idea to keep track of “just in case”
