Elegant Ascot
The Elegant Ascot is an updated take on a classic pattern. It’s a quick and easy knit, made with aran or bulky yarn stranded with lace weight mohair or brushed alpaca. The ascot is cozy, warm, squishy, and has a much more luxurious, generous feel than the little neckerchief that you find in the traditional ascot. It’s actually big enough to feel almost like a cowl, and you can pull it up onto your head, like a hood or headband/ear warmer if you want to. This fun little project is the perfect, practical use for a single skein of luxury or hand dyed yarn.
