Eldey Shawl
Eldey Shawl is worked using two strands of yarn held together, from the centre top and down, with increases.
Increases are worked using yarn overs, which are then knit, or knit through the back loop on the RS, and purled, or purled through the back loop on the WS. Make sure to twist the yarn overs to avoid gaps.
Begin by making a swatch, and adjust the needle size accordingly to ensure that you get the correct fit and that you have enough yarn for the project. Wet-block your swatch and let it dry before you measure it – the stitches do not fall properly into place until after washing.
