Elbert
Featuring a bold chevron pattern Elbert is equally at home topping winter layers or making the difference between a tank top and long sleeves on a Northern summer’s day. The stranded colour work creates a warm, cushy fabric, has an easy rhythm and creates an interesting crown pattern. In all sizes there will be enough leftover from a single skein of the less used colour to make a full, plush pom-pom. Of course, the pom-pom hides the crown pattern a little, but pom-poms are so cheerful that I had to include it. Elbert is worked from the bottom up and includes directions for three sizes to fit larger kid’s and most adult’s heads. A relaxed beanie style that’s slouchy enough to pull down over the ears when necessary, for extra slouch just add an additional repeat.
