The shawl is knitted from tip to tip with edges and accent lines worked in double-knitting. The beginning and end of the shawl are worked entirely in double-knitting. Increases are worked along one side of the shawl, and new double-knitting lines are integrated as the shawl grows wider. Once the shawl reaches half its total length, decreases are worked along the same side, and the double-knitting lines are gradually closed out.

Fremgangsmåde
Sjalet strikes fra spids til spids med kanter og linjer strikket med dobbeltstrik. Start og slutning på sjalet er strikket i dobbeltstrik. Der tages masker ud i sjalets ene side og nye dobbeltstriklinjer integreres efterhånden som sjalet bliver bredere. Når sjalet har opnået den halve længde, tages igen ind i sjalet ene side og dobbeltstriklinjerne lukkes af.
