Edith's Duet {Cowl & Infinity}
Edith’s Duet is named after two amazing Edith’s (my Great/ Grandmother) in my family who have influenced the person I am today.
While making your Edith’s Duet remember the women that have come before you and how they helped shape who you are.
Please use the following information as a guide (yarn amounts will vary depending on the type of yarn used, tension and beginning starting chain length):
Infinity Scarf Version using:
- Fingering Weight “Natural Fibre Arts” Yarn I used approximately 140grams or 600m with a dc foundation row of 330 (I was able to double over for this length). If you don’t want it doubled over I begin with a dc foundation row of 186 and used approximately 425m.
- Scheepjes Whirlette: If using 2 tone you will need 1 of each colour, if doing a solid colour you will need 1 with a dc foundation row of 234 (this will give you a nice size but not doubled over). I used a 3.5mm hook for the Whirlette
Cowl Version used approximately 70grm or 130m of a Milano 100% cotton. For the two toned version I used 44grams of the light blue and 26grams of the white
Terminology for this pattern is in US Terms and contains written instructions as well as photos to help along the way.
Stitches used:
chain
double crochet
foundation chain
half double crochet
puff stitch
single crochet
v stitch
Edith’s Duet is also available in a Shawl Version
