Ebb and Flow
Ebb and Flow is a one skein fingering weight bandana cowl, knit in the round. It features alternating sections of Old Shale Lace and stockinette stitch.
Knitting begins with a lacy neckline, and then flows organically into triangle shawl shaping. Choose a shorter cowl neck and longer triangle, or a taller cowl and shorter triangle.
Neckline is 21”/53 cm around, and 3 or 5.5”/7.5 or 14 cm tall. Triangular cowl body is 12 or 15”/30.5 or 38 cm long from bottom of neck to point, 38 or 42”/96 or 106 cm wide at the bottom.
Thanks to tech editor Jen Lucas, model Sharon Hsu, and test knitters Ann Berg, Debbie Braden, Jody Brostrom, Rowan Frost, Iris Mondri-Kish, Melissa A. Rowe, and Nan Wagner.
This pattern is also available through my Payhip store.
