Eathie
Is winter your favourite time for a stroll on the beach? Eathie captures that stark palette - the black of dried seaweed, the cream of seafoam and the steel grey of the sea - to wrap the ocean’s peace around you. Starting from a single point, gentle waves and lacy chevrons spread out like the vast horizon.
Eathie uses three undyed skeins of yarn from three individual sheep local to the region, and is easy to adapt to use up every scrap of your precious yarn.
Sizes
Directions are given for working the shawl in 4ply or heavy DK/worsted weight yarn. The construction of the shawl means that it is easy to adapt to any size and gauge without doing any maths. Simply carry on knitting until it is big enough (or you run out of yarn!)
