Easy Striped Scarf
Everyone needs a fun scarf for the winter. This ridiculously long, striped scarf promises to be lots of fun to wear. Knit in
your favorite school colors to show your team spirit or use the pattern as a stash buster to use up the odd bits of yarn you have leftover from other projects. You can vary the width of the stripes for the look that you like best. The pattern allows for two wide rows of a main and secondary color separated by narrow rows of random accent colors. This is a great stash buster pattern.
This pattern was designed for the Homeschool Kids group Ravelympics Time Trials. The kids wanted to practice to get ready for Ravelympics 2010 so we chose a project that we could work on together and then use for team ravatars with the Ravelympics roll around.
Pattern includes two easy knitted versions - one in ribbing and one in garter stitch as well as a crochet adaptation written by Charlene of CTMemories aka HatsFineandFancy.
