Easy Peasy scarf and hat, knitting pattern

We have made a pattern for a simple set of easy and very useful scarf and hat. The pattern describes how you knit both the hat and scarf + and you get the hat pattern for 3 different sizes, so you can make the hat for the whole family. We like the hat with a thick folded edge like this one, so it can warm your ears on a cold winter day. You can easily regulate the hat so it gets shorter or longer, and or you can remove the folded edge all together.

Sizes on the hat: (Junior) Women’s (Men’s)
Head size: (51-54) 55-58 (59-62) cm.
Hat size: (32)42(44) cm / (12.5)16.5(17.3) inches slightly stretched 2x2 rib stitch
Hat length: (21)23(25) cm + 10 cm for folded edge if wanted

Sizes on the scarf: (Junior) Women’s (Men’s)
Width: approx. 23 cm / 9 inches
Length: Approx. 190 cm / 74,8 inches

Materials:
250 g Önling No 2, 100% Merino Superfine Super 100’s Wool, 120 m per. 25 g
1 cone Önling No 13, 95% first cut lamb wool and 5% cashmere
Note! Önling No 13 yarn has unfortunately been discontinued

Gauge:
22 sts and 28 row of 2x2 rib stitch pattern on needle size 4½ mm / US 7 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 inches
