Easy Peasy Rose Sweater

Here is the pattern for Easy Peasy Rose Sweater, the big sister to the popular Easy Peasy Rose Tee. The sweater is designed with an oversized fit of approx. 20 cm / 8 inches of positive ease, giving it a relaxed and comfortable feel.
It is worked in one strand Önling No 4, our soft organic merino wool, held together with one strand Önling No 12, our everyday cotton-wool blend. The combination creates a light and comfortable sweater, perfect for the changing seasons when the air is crisp and you long for soft warmth. Just like Rose Tee, Rose Sweater features wide rib edges, a simple and timeless silhouette, and a slightly defined shoulder line for a refined look. A versatile knit for your wardrobe, easy to style for any occasion.
Rose Sweater is part of our Easy Peasy series, and the pattern is written in a beginner-friendly language without abbreviations – perfect for both new and experienced knitters looking for a cozy project with a beautiful result.

Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.

Procedure
The sweater is worked from the top down. Stitches are first cast on for the front using a long-tail cast-on, and is worked back and forth down to the armhole. The back is shaped by picking up stitches for the shoulders along the cast-on edge of the front, creating the distinct shoulder line. Stitches are then crocheted up for the neck, and the back is worked in the same way as the front, back and forth down to the armhole. The work is then joined to be worked in the round and finished with a wide rib edge. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down by picking up stitches along the armhole and finished with a wide rib edge.
The length of both body and sleeves can easily be adjusted. Tutorial videos are provided for all techniques used in the pattern.
