Easy Peasy Cloths – Advent 2020
There is nothing better than hand-knitted cloths, that’s just how it is. And we prefer them pretty with nice edges,
and fun to knit. This pattern offers 2 different versions of good cloths that may be used for many different purposes: dishcloths, table napkins, or washcloths.
When you run out of Önling No 14, finish the second cloth with two strands of Krea Deluxe cotton. When you have become hooked on knitting cloths, you can use all your cotton yarn leftovers to make more nice cloths and use them as presents.

Size
Cloths: approx. 25 cm x 25 cm / 10 x 10 inches

Materials
Krea Deluxe, Organic cotton, 100% organic cotton, 165 m per 50 g

Color A: 50 g – use 1 strand.
Önling No 14, 78% GOTS-certified cotton and 22% linen, 120 m per 50 g
Color B: 50 g – use 1 strand.

Cloth No. 1 = 47 g ClothNo.2=50g Cloth No. 3 = 43 g
All cloths are worked with 1 strand of Color A and 1 strand of Color B = 2 strands held together.

Recommended circular needle size 5 mm / US 8, with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 cm / 4 inches; however, the exact gauge is not that important.

Gauge
18 stitches and 36 rows (18 ridges) of garter stitch pattern onneedlesize5mm/US8=10x10cm/4x4inches.

CLOTH NO. 1
Cloths worked in garter stitch (knit all rows) are always useful, easy and simple to knit. This is our version of a wonderful garter stitch cloth with nice edges.
18 stitches and 24 rows of check pattern on needle size 5 mm / US 8 = 10 x 10 cm / 4x4 inches.

CLOTH NO. 2
My grandmother used to make table napkins in purl and knit checks. I grew up with hand-knitted checkered cloths, and even today I think of my sweet Gran every time I come across a cloth like that. It is very easy to knit, and
I always want to make just one more row. A nice, pretty, checkered cloth.
