Easy Chevron Baby Blanket
A beginner-friendly crochet pattern that you can use to make blankets, scarves, pillow covers, or whatever you want! Skills needed: ch, dc.
This pattern is pretty straightforward and can be adjusted to suit your design. I went with stripes in example shown, but the pattern will still show with a single color. This makes a great stash-buster if you’re trying to use up all your scraps!
Materials needed:
- Yarn - you can use any yarn for this pattern, see notes on yarn choice and amount in the blog post
- 4.5mm crochet hook or the size needed to meet the gauge OR the size appropriate for your chosen yarn
- Stitch markers (optional, helpful for the starting chain)
- Tapestry needle
- Snips
In the rainbow example shown, I used Mighty Stitch Worsted from Knit Picks, 2 skeins of cream and about a 1/2 skein each in canary, celestial, alfalfa, serrano, eggplant, orange, sky, macaw, fruit punch, and satsuma.
