I’ve spent hours knitting stranded color Christmas stockings, and wanted something that would come together quickly. This generous stocking, knit with bulky yarn and using duplicate stitch to create the pattern, fit the bill precisely. Picking buttons for the decorations for the tree completed an absolutely fun experience! I hope you have as much fun as I did!

I used almost an entire skein of the color for the main body of the stocking, about a third of the skein for the cuff, heel and toe, and just a tiny bit of the green for the duplicate stitched tree.
