This elegant cowl features exquisite Celtic knot cables. The cables are worked in a garter stitch background to make an easier knit.

SIZE
The finished cowl strip measures 88½cm/35” from end to end, and is 20½cm/8” wide.
MATERIALS
4ply/fingering weight yarn with approximately 320 metres/350 yards per 100g. You will need approximately 140g.
The pictured sample was knitted with baa ram ewe ‘Titus’ in Bramley Baths.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
2.75mm/US 2 needles for flat knitting.
TENSION/GAUGE
One full pattern repeat (28 sts and 44 rows) measures 11cm/4⅜“ long and 6cm/2⅜” wide after blocking.
Adjust needle size as necessary to achieve the specified tension.
