A simple boxy shape is elevated with thoughtful details in the Early Morning Pullover. Herringbone hems and cuffs are echoed in buttonbands that run along the sides of the sweater. The front and back are worked from the bottom up in separate pieces, while the sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round from shoulder to cuff.

NOTES

  • The body of this pullover is worked back and forth in two pieces from the bottom up. After the shoulders are joined, bands are picked up and worked along each side of the front and back. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.

  • Alternate skeins of yarn every two rows to blend the hand-dyed yarn.

  • A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
