Duval Hat
The Duval Hat plays with perspective. Up close, the pattern comes into view; step back, and the colors seem to blur together. It may look intricate, but this two-color design is built from an 8-stitch by 6-round repeat that’s soothing to knit and fun to watch unfold.
Worked seamlessly in the round from the brim up, it strikes an easy balance between interest and relaxation. With four sizes—Child (Teen, Adult Small, Adult Large)—and clear instructions, Duval is an approachable colorwork project that knits up quickly and shines in bold dark-and-light color pairings.
The Duval Hat pattern has been professionally tech edited and thoroughly test knit across sizes to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in the finished result.
