Dulcibella Tunic
I designed the Dulcibella tunic to show off a variety of seaming techniques featured in my Craftsy class, Seaming Crochet. The sample was seamed using the Connect and Weave method (not discussed in the pattern but shown in great detail in the Craftsy class). The pattern includes written instructions and a stitch diagram for the modified chain seam used on the side vents. You can see this seam (and more) in action in the Craftsy class.
This top-down, lace tunic looks far more difficult than it actually is. Made from basic shapes, Dulcibella is an effortless layering piece that you’ll be reaching for throughout the year. The hip-length garment has a comfortable boat neck along with elbow-length sleeves. Generously sized from sizes small through 4X, select a body skimming silhouette, or opt for a more relaxed look by choosing
a size with more positive ease. The pattern includes crochet stitch
diagrams for both the main stitch pattern as well as the decorative
chain seam on the side vents.
