Druk Hat
The Druk is the Thunder Dragon of Bhutanese mythology and a Bhutanese national symbol. The sparkling light of thunderbolts were believed to be the fire of a dragon.
The hat features the thunderbolt design, widely used in Bhutanese textiles, framed by a two-colour horizontal braid above the rolled edge. A tassel with braided cord is sewn to the top.
The hat is worked in the round and in Dk weight yarn. The instructions are for 2 sizes and include a colour chart plus written instructions.
