Drive in Movie is a top down, triangular shawl worked in two different colors of fingering weight yarn. The fun stripes are worked in two easy stitch patterns to add visual interest!
This pattern was originally available exclusively at The Fiber Gallery during the 2019 Puget Sound Local Yarn Store Tour from May 15 to May 19.

Sweet Georgia Bulletproof Sock (50% superwash merino, 20% nylon, 15% kid mohair, 15% silk; 437yds 400m/3.5oz 100g
Color A: West Wind, 1 skein
or 404yds 369m of a fingering weight yarn
Color B: Apricot, 1 skein
or 278yds 254m of a fingering weight yarn

G 4.0mm, or size to obtain gauge

Tapestry Needle, removeable stitch marker
Gauge
23 sts x 13.25 rows = 4” x 4” 10cm x 10cm in double crochet, unblocked.
Blocked gauge varied wildly due to stretching in opposing directions.
Another way to check your gauge is to work Part 1; the model is 11.5” 29.2cm across the top edge and has a 5” 12.7cm depth before blocking.
