The horizontal stripes use the intarsia technique, and the turtleneck and armhole bands are finished with the tubular bind-off technique. This fitted top is graded as Intermediate due to the intarsia and the tubular bind offs. You could work each stripe separately and seam them and then use the standard bind off which would change the grade to Basic.

The size grading assumes 1” of negative ease. If you would like a looser fit, select a larger size. Decreases are worked in each stripe at the bottom to shape the waistline, and increases are worked to shape the bustline.
