7 (7, 7, 7, 7, 9,10) skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash Worsted, 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4) in Mink (MC), 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3) in Pine Tree (CC1) and 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) in Deep Cove (CC2) (200 yd / 182 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino Wool).
Also shown worked in a marled fashioned (2 colours held together) using 6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Tough Love Sock in Apricot and Classic Blue (425 yd / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon).

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 8 US / 5 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Smooth waste yarn, stitch marker, yarn needle, six 28 mm buttons

GAUGE
18 sts and 25 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch, after blocking.

PATTERN NOTES
The Front is worked in rows, straight, from the hem to the neckline, changing colors when indicated. The Front neck stitches are bound off, then decreased. The shoulder stitches continue to be worked down the Back, increasing, then casting on for the Back neck. Once the Back neck is completed, the Back is worked straight to the hem. For the button bands, stitches are picked up along each selvedge edge and buttonholes are worked at the lower portion of the Front. Collar stitches are picked up around the neckline.
When working the Tubular Bind off, it saves time if you only pull the full length of the yarn through the stitches after steps 2 and 5.
