Drift Lines creates a transition from one color to another in a pattern reminiscent of the drift lines created by waves as they wash up on the beach. Each section transitions from one color to the next, painting gradual changes. The usage of front post stitches and working into the third loop of a half- or double crochet creates added texture.

TECHNIQUES USED: In addition to standard crochet stitches, chained (working into third stitch of half and double crochet), front post double crochet, working transition rows as two right side, then two wrong side rows.

Although counts are given for placement of increases, placing stitch markers at increase points are encouraged to make it easier to track.
