The Dress your feet socks are knitted from the cuff down to the toe. Begin with the Estonian cast-on to create a stretchy edge that looks like a string of pearls. Work in 1/1 Twisted stitches pattern for the leg, then continue working the pattern for the heel flap, but in the opposite direction. By changing the direction of the pattern, a small diamond-like shape appears at the top of the heel. After turning the heel, start decreasing across the sole stitches to create the gusset. Finish the socks with the Short, Medium or Long Standard Toe, according to your measurements. Please note that the 1/1 Twisted stitches pattern is worked without using a cable needle.

Yarn / Yardage
• 1 (1, 2, 2) skeins of Schachenmayr Regia Premium Merino Yak yarn, in Puder Meliert 07505 colourway, 58% wool, 28% polyamid, 14% yak, approx. 100 g / 400 m / 437 yds / 3.5 oz per skein;

• or approx. 344 (377, 414, 450) m / 376 (412, 453, 492) yds of fingering or sock weight yarn that gives you gauge. Yardage is calculated for working the Medium Standard Toe and includes 15% of extra yarn. Please note that size and yardage will be affected when making any adjustments on the socks. 


Needles
2 - 2.5 mm / US 0 -1.5, choose needle size to obtain gauge. Sample made using 2.5 mm / US 1.5, 100 cm / 40” long circular needle, however choose the length according to your preference.
