You start knitting the Inara dress by working the top part of the dress, then undo the provisional cast on and knit the skirt in rounds in stockinette stitch from top down. The top is worked in rounds from the waist to the armholes, then the front and back parts are finished in rows. The back of the top consists of a net pattern, the front is knitted in stockinette stitch with a strip of lace pattern in the center. The increases for the skirt are made on the sides.

The dress has a tight fit and is worked to be worn with a positive ease of 0 – 1.2“ (0 – 3 cm). Example: If your bust circumference is 35“ (90cm), you choose size M. With a positive ease of 0.8“ (2 cm), it will fight tight.
