Dreap is the Gaelic word for climb. The ivy trellis stranded colorwork pattern is fun and playful. As the ivy climbs along one side, the trellis climbs the other.

The ivy details are on one side and trellis is on the other. The mittens provide a warm coordinated piece to the cowl. There is a mitten liner option that make them perfect for snowball fights. The yellow buds on the ivy give a little pop of color and are applied to both pieces after completion using a duplicate stitch.

Yarn: MC: Chocolate #25271: 4 balls, CC1: Avocado #25282: 3 balls, CC2: Semolina #25302: 1 ball

Materials: Stitch marker, waste yarn and a tapestry needle.

Yarn: Knit Picks Capra DK, 85% Merino Wool, 15% Cashmere (123yd / 112 m, 1.76 oz / 50 g ball), Turmeric #25950: 1 ball

Needle: US #3 / 3.25 mm needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge: 29 stitches and 41 rows = 4 inch / 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
