Dreap is the Gaelic word for climb. The ivy trellis stranded colorwork pattern is fun and playful. As the ivy climbs along one side, the trellis climbs the other.

The cowl is worked in the round like a tube to make an extra thick fabric to keep you warm on those wintery days. The ivy details are on one side and trellis is on the other to allow for the piece to be reversed. The yellow buds on the ivy give a little pop of color and are applied to both pieces after completion using a duplicate stitch.
