Dreams Cowl
“Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams,
For when dreams go,
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow“
--Langston Hughes--
Inspired by my favorite poet, Langston Hughes, the tribute cowl is just that, a tribute. I came across this poem as a young girl and it has guided me back to my dreams many times.
I knit this as a companion piece to the Solid Socks Mystery June/July 2014because I love the poem so much and the stitch is so lovely
Suitable for the adventurous beginner and interesting for the more experienced knitter I think you will find this cowl delightful to knit and wear.
I think you’ll love knitting the Dreams Cowl.
Must knit now,
Phyll
