Dragonfly Wings, Bag
A bag I found online inspired me. I wanted it, but I couldn’t find a pattern that came close to it. So, of course, I said, “I can make that!” and another purse design was born. I named it Dragon Fly Wings, because the stitch pattern looks like dragonflies in flight.
The bottom of bag is worked in seed stitch.
After you work the bottom, you pick up all the way around the bottom and start working in the round.
Just three pattern-repeats complete the body of the bag, so it is a fast knit.
The eyelet row at the top allows you to gather the bag opening to your desired width.
The handles are attached with in I-Cord loop.
A felted bottom for the inside of the bag helps it keep its shape.
