Dragonfly Hat
The second hat in the Vintage Hat Collection, Dragonfly was inspired by millinery styles of the 1930s, but can also invoke the 1920s.
In the thirties women knew how to wear a hat, how to drape it just so to flatter the face beneath it. Dragonfly takes care of the styling for you, sewing this easy to make hat into the perfect drape to make anyone look wonderful.
Wear the folds to the side to invoke the 1930s and imagine yourself as Ginger Rogers in The Gay Divorcee, or Carole Lombard in My Man Godfrey. Wear the folds to the front and you are suddenly back in the twenties, and channeling your inner Natacha Rambova, silent film star and wife of Rudolph Valentino. Wear the folds in the back, and you have a contemporary slouch hat that hangs just right no matter how quickly you put it on.
3 looks, 1 hat, and a fun quick knit for that single skein of fingering or sport weight yarn that you don’t know what to do with.
