Dragon Eggs
Create a clutch of colorful dragon eggs with your favorite DK-weight yarn and a small wooden egg. Who knows what might hatch from the beaded egg? Perhaps a wee fire lizard with gemstone eyes? Is it Draco, Puff, or Spyro in the spiral egg?
The beaded egg is worked from the pointy end; beads are pre-strung. The spiral egg is worked from the round end. Both eggs are worked in the round--use your preferred small-circumference knitting method (DPNs, magic loop, two circs, etc.)
Full written directions for both eggs are included in this pattern.
Notions:
- 2.5” wooden egg
- 70 size 6/0 beads (for beaded egg)
- screw-in eyelet hanger (optional)
