The sweater features the same pattern as the Järvsö sweater on p. 41, which is one of the most beautiful sweaters I have ever seen and has become my absolute favorite. Since I find the checkerboard squares interesting in combination with other patterns but preferred to do the lower edges in ribbing, I have used the squares as shoulder borders.
