Description:
Easy and fun crochet cowl with stripes. Great project to use your scrap/leftover yarn, or advent sets.
Use one main color and several contrast colors throughout the project, or make a totally unique project and change colors constantly.
The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn holding double, or DK/sport weight in a single strand. But it is very easy to adjust for heavier yarn, too.
The size of the cowl is easily customizable, you’ll work the width of the cowl as long as you want.
The stitch pattern is reversible.

Skills:
Basic crochet stitches (ch, sc), how to make 1 seam.

Materials:
Yarn: Fingering weight yarn holding double strands, or DK/Sport weight holding single strand, at least 2 relatively contrasting colors.
If using fingering weight: 425 yds (390 m) for MC + 425 yds (390 m) for CC.
If using DK/sport weight: 210 yds (190 m) for MC + 210 yds (190 m) for CC.
Hook: size US K (6.5 mm)
Notions: tapestry needle, scissors, blocking mat & pins (or combs)
